Never this before. Fantastic video of a cameraman out kicking the winner in a very fast 10k run in 2014. The "winner" looks over at him in shock as he realizes he cannot keep with the cameraman's pace.

Impressive (and funny). Maybe someone knows the full story?
I think this was a commercial or something
Ya, that went viral some years back.
That cameraman is fast
;-)

Why didn't you post it? #selfish
Lmao thanks for sharing that
This is a Powerade commercial from several years ago that for some reason is re-circulating on social media now among the same subset of people who believed that Bruce Lee really did play ping pong with nunchucks.

Hope you're being sarcastic.
(14 to 14.50) 100m with a rolling start. Cameraman seemed to be showing off. Cameraman most likely a F.A.T. sub-12 100m man sans camera.
Good actors. Hard to find actors who know how to run like runners.
Can’t mime speed tho!

So? Do you think the kick is faked? The running is real because his shadow matches theirs (length and angle), and his legs cross over into their shadows. They are running pretty fast in real life and that cameraman, whoever he is a pretty fast guy to pul that off. Try sprinting all out for 60 or more meters (he used a rolling start) with something on your shoulder ... it does not weight 30 pounds. Get back to use with your result.
We are still waiting for you boys to post a link on LRC where this went viral six years ago (meaning several pages of posts).

The end line (ignoring the trolls) is that the guy carrying the camera is fast. And other fast runners at whatever his pace is would get dusted by him.

Genius, the Youtube video that you linked to in your OP dates from 2014, and has over 21 million views.

Great work Sherlock!
Kids.
It is fake.
The “camera” does not weigh 30 pounds.
Pretty funny. Seems the cameraman got a little carried away and thought he was part of the race.
Fun thread.
No sponsor name or country babe on the singlets.
But the OP did get me.
It was funny seeing the camera man lose the shot and let the camera swayed to focus on his kick.

You're a genius. The original posts says it was 2014. So clever that you figured that out. "...a very fast 10k run in 2014".
Uh ... that's a commercial.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
