They said, "The shoe is essentially the baby of the Speed Elite and the Razor with the non stretch mesh upper of the speed elite and carbon plate, and the midsole build of the Razor."
How did Skechers shave over 1 oz off the shoe, if the midsole thicknesses are the same? I find it hard to believe that the density of any added plate is less than the density of Hyperburst. Do you think over an ounce was removed from the upper? Or instead, are the listed stack heights of the two shoes (which you currently show to be the same) incorrect?
Running Wharehouse lists the stack heights as follows:
(1) Skechers GOrun Razor 3 Hyper
Stack Height: 28 mm (Heel), 24 mm (Forefoot) - (includes non-removable sock liner)
(2) Skechers GOrun Razor 3 Elite Hyper
Stack Height: 28 mm (Heel); 24 mm (Forefoot) - (includes non-removable sock liner)
The Skechers site list the stack height of the GOrun Razor 3 Hyper as Stack Height: 23mm, Forefoot, 27mm Heel, Offset Height: 4mm.
Even without a thickness gage, just by handling, is it (or not) obvious that their is difference in the stack height between the two models?
