How many under 2:20?
Will it be USATF / IAAF Certified?

The course is yet to be certified, but it will be. We are also getting it USATF sanctioned.

2 or 3.
Bump. Tomorrow is the registration deadline. Looks like we'll have 6 or 7 under 2:20.
Another bump. Last update it was roughly 3/4 full, so lets say 75 people. Will it be split 50/50 male/female or top 100 regardless? As it stands you havent had to leave anyone out yet either I'd imagine, barring they meet time standards. Thanks again for putting this on I hope everyone appreciates the annoyance doing something like this is.
Yeah...I’d sign up but probably a little too fast for me right now.

Names?
Sorry, the registrants didn't agree in advance to have their names published, so I'm not comfortable posting here. You can see in the results when they're posted.
I can tell you that our current seed times at the front are:
2:16
2:19
2:20
2:22
2:22
2:24
2:24
2:25
2:25
2:27
2:30
These times are all within a minute or two of what people have previously run or are conservative estimates based on fast PRs at shorter distances, so it should be pretty quick up front. There will also be a nice pack at 2:45 and right at 3 hours.
We aren't going to fill, so we'll continue accepting registrations. We've got about 50 paid up (including all those above), and another 20 who have said they're in but haven't submitted payment yet. A handful have dropped out due to injuries or other issues.
Wish I could make it to this. It would be easier to run 2:45 with 9 hairpins and a pack of folks nearby than solo in a race where only 3 will break 3 hours like I’m signed up for.
I'm glad this event is happening. Anyone know where results will be posted?

Impressive results. The wind must have been brutal. Definitely not Rupp certified.
No Michael Wardian up near the front. Would have bet dollars to donuts he would be in the top 5.
Wow. no kidding. Nice work.
It was blowing NW like 18G30+ all morning at DCA (right across the river).

Come on, man!
Covid!
Here's a longer writeup:

Weather was indeed brutal. Lot of DNFs and DNS (some due to COVID concerns, some bailed the week of when they saw the forecast).
Props on getting this together and pulling it off!
