In the women's 3000, I imagine Jessica Hull will be targeting the Australian record (8:38) since she's already taken down both the 1500 and 5000 records this season. Nice little hat trick if she manages it.

The meet is at Qatar Sports Club, not Khalifa Stadium, so there's no AC (I was mistaken on the podcast).
79 degree dew point is deep in uncomfortably sticky territory on top of the 90 degree temperature. Don’t expect anything super fast from distance races.
I haven't heard it mentioned either way yet in the broadcast, but I'll keep an ear for it. From the looks of the athletes and how Kahmari Montgomery seemed to be struggling to breathe after his 400 win I would guess that the AC is off.

Agreed, 79 would be tough, but the dew point there right now is not nearly that high. Maybe 72.
Alysia Montano is brutal. Absolutely brutal. I don’t like having to post this; I really wish she was somewhat decent. But she is not.
