Advice in getting back into serious running, have not run competitive since 2001; I'm 43 years old. I'm 5'7", 167 lbs. Been running a little serious for about 3-4 months now, lost 21 lbs was 188 lbs. Just did a 10 mile run avg 6:20/pace. I do 1 interval day, 12x400 ~72 with 90 secs rest and 1 tempo day; as for long runs I go 120-130 HR for 90-120 minutes, most other runs are 6-9 miles extremely easy 8:40-11 min/mile . Any advise on how I can lose 30 lbs, so I can get faster. Seems I'm stuck at 168 lbs now.
