Good post. Also, pretty sure it was more than 50 miles as I recall an interview (irunfar?) where he said that it happened early on (like mile 12 or something) where he was messing around on some rocks and fell. I am sure he felt a little ashamed to hurt himself fooling around and dislocate his shoulder. So he folded his arm into his hydration vest and kept going. Then they taped it up at an aid station and he continued to crush it, using 1 pole with his good arm. Legend.
Wow, now that you mention it, is that the race he went sub-23 hours? And Walmsley was recently trying to best it, maybe with a sub-22hour?
