I'm 100% clean. Follow WADA rules to a T. I'd imagine if I took EPO/HGH/testosterone etc I'd run quite a bit better though. It would be nice to recover faster from hard training up and down mountains and blast long efforts hard every day. Heck even DHEA could give someone an illegal edge I'd imagine?! The sport is definitely not clean. Look at all the doping cases in Comrades over the years. When I was 15th there in 2015 two guys in the top 10 tripped positive PED tests on the day! A guy who was top 10 at UTMB several years ago was busted for EPO:https://iancorless.org/2016/07/19/utmb-and-utwt-face-first-positive-drug-test-of-epo-abuse/ There is plenty incentive in this sport to dope...and there is hardly any testing. In defense of Kilian the guy was literally born and raised in the mountains and was doing crazy mountain stuff by like the age of 3. It's not like he came out of nowhere and made a huge jump in performances in the last 10 years. Probably his best record/jump ever was what he did at Sierre-Zinal last year. That was pretty ridiculous. Skimo training is very specific to mountain running as well (in my very limited experience). Also, he has been beaten (Rob Krar, Dakota Jones, Francois etc) and had some "bad races" (although generally he is always top 3 no matter what). And he pretty much always just does mountain races between 20-100miles (and sometimes the VK or 10km stuff etc). He isn't considered the "best climber" in the world either...although again his Sierre-Zinal climb last year was pretty ridiculous. He definitely is one of the best technical downhill runners in the world and that mix is what makes him so good in the "Sky Running" or "Golden Trail Running" series types of events. That being said there is hardly any testing. It is a joke really. I'd bet a sport like Skimo is also pretty dirty. There seems to be an attitude in all these sports (esp in "Euro Mountain Running") that is much like cycling. And there is plenty of incentive to dope or find that 2-5% edge....it's not just about the money...it's about the ego and the travel perks and the social media gains (I'd imagine)...

I wnat a good reputation. What percent of people think he's on EPO?
I was stunned when I was doing a little research into the ultra world last year when someone told me they thought he was on drugs. I have no idea if he is or not but was for some unknown reason stunned to learn there might be dopoing in the utlra world. I don't know why that stunned me as their is cheating in all walks of life.
in that case, All are suspected of fraud, Kilian, Walmsley, Sage, Krupicka, Dauwalter, Herron, Miller, Tollefson, etc...
