Hi! I'm sure this has been asked before, but I was wondering what you all think is a good pace to go at for my easy (non-workout) runs. I (24F) have only been running for about 9 months, but the other day I did a 3 mile tempo run in 21 minutes. If I tried my hardest for a 5k I could probably average under 7 minutes per mile. However, during my easy days I usually average about 9 minutes per mile. If the route I do is really hilly that average is around 9:30-10 mins per miles. I know a couple of people who are about the same pace as me during workouts, but on their easy runs they go much faster than I do (they average about 7:45-8 mins per mile). With all of that being said, do I need to pick up the pace during my easy days or is my current pace okay?
