I beat Tegenkamp in a high school race. If he doesn’t have a win over Kipchoge (not sure) he at least has a win over Farrah who then has a win over Kipchoge.

I finished ahead of Jonny Brownlee in some fell races when he was a lot younger and slower than he is now.
I beat Jonny Brownlee
Jonny Brownlee beat Jonny Hay (Intercounties XC, 2012)
Jonny Hay beat both Eliud Kipchoge and Kenenisa Bekele (Great Edinburgh XC, 2012)

I beat Finn Gessner in a race (hs)
Finn beat Luis Grijalva (hs)
Luis Grijalva beat Geordie Beamish (college)
Geordie Beamish beat Morgan McDonald (college)
Morgan McDonald beat Jacob Kiplimo (Worlds)
Jacob Kiplimo beat Barega (pro race)
Barega beat Muktar (12:43 race)
Muktar beat Mo (Worlds)
Mo beat Kipchoge (2011 Worlds)
Might’ve been able to do better but here it is.
Ergo you could totally smash Kipchoge in a head-to-head.
I’m a muscular drug free athlete. I’m nowhere near that cheating stick figure.
One of my coworkers knows Kipchoge personally and trained with him in Kenya for a while although he was not part of the group. While he is a very good runner I don't think he was good enough to ever beat Kipchoge. Maybe over 800 meters he could have beat him but that's about it.
Zero. I am Kipchoge.
I raced at state back when track existed
State champion was in the same race as Ben Blankenship (different heat but still) last year
Ben Blankenship raced against Matt Centrowitz
Centro was a pacer for Sub 2

Many people have very likely been in a race with somebody who has raced against Kipchoge. Go to a road race with any of your national team members competing. Not hard to do.
Yep. Been in a road race with like Ches, Eric Jenkins, etc. If they haven’t raced Kipchoge then I’m still only like 2-3 away
Jonny Hay is a clever link.
Farah has been beaten more than you'd think. For me:
I completed London 2013 where Mo Farah DNF'd .
I also beat Farah at Bushy ParkRun in August 2011 (he was running with Tania)
I also beat Ronnie O Sullivan in the Met League, and he's gonna beat Mo Farah in SPOTY this year.
I beat Thomas Graham in xc once (not while he was in hs)
2012 new balance outdoor 2 mile - Graham beats Sam Parsons
2019 world outdoor championships 5000 heat - Sam Parsons beats Abadi Hadis
2017 world xc championships - Abadi Hadis beats Muktar Edris
2017 world outdoor championships 5000 - Muktar Edris beats Mo Farah
2011 world outdoor championships 5000 - Mo Farah beats Eliud Kipchoge
I bet a lot of people could have a relatively few degrees of separation through Chris Solinsky. He beat Kipchoge in 2010 in the 5000 in Oslo (perhaps a number of other times too, but that is the race I was curious about and checked). Solinsky also bombed the 2006 NCAA XC Championship race, finishing 73rd - so if you beat anyone in the top 72 at any point, you'd have just a couple degrees of separation.
I figured out a route for myself with 5 degrees of separation, but maybe I'd be able to get a few less if I really scoured results.
In 2016 Cardiff World Champs half-marathon I started in the front pack just behind Mo and Kamworor. I still remember how Kamworor tripped and fell in the start and then went absolutely flying through tens of amateur runners to catch back the lead pack. I went off in something like 3:20/km steady pace from the start and he just blazed past me like I was standing. Ended up winning the race in low 59:xx.
Stayed at the same hotel as the team at the INEOS event in Vienna. Never saw Kipchoge aside from at the run but dined with many of the pacers. Had a run the day after the event with a bunch of the pacers on the course in the Prater.

Via the transitive property, you are currently the best distance runner in the world.
I beat Liam Reale
who beat Alistar Cragg
who beat Bekele
who beat Kipchoge
Me too
Justyn Knight is helpful for this: 143rd at 2014 NCAAs XC. From there, it's a pretty straightforward Knight -> Rupp -> Lagat -> Kipchoge
I raced against Ryan Hall at the 2011 Peach Tree 10k.
Has Ryan Hall raced Kipchoge? If so, I'm not far separated in degrees. My 10k PR is a 38:58 during a half marathon.
Kipchoge follows me on Twitter, so only one degree!
Teg beat Kipchoge at 2011 Prefontaine Classic in the Two Mile.
