Everyone is wearing masks, flu cases basically are at historic lows. If social distancing measures are adequate for COVID that is more contagious and more deadly, please explain to me why they are urging everyone to get a flu shot. Is it just to keep the influenza virus going or is it so that vaccinated individuals can infect healthy individuals?
* If more people take flu shots, then you get fewer pneumonia cases.
* If more people take flu shots, then you get fewer pasients contributing to overburdening the healthcare system.
* If more people take flu shots, then the groups who are recommended to take flu shots (read: the elderly) will get fewer one-two punch cases of both the flu and Coronavirus.
* If more people take flu shots, fewer people will experience flu symptoms, which means they won't have to self-isolate due to Coronavirus-like symptoms.
