I’m gonna start off by saying I’m aware that I have much farther to go until I should be worried about this time, I’m just curious what others think. I’ve made it my life goal to try and break 4 minutes for the mile. I started running roughly 2 years ago. I started at around a 5:20 mile and got it down to 4:27 within about a year. I’ve ran 53 for 400 but I feel I could go a bit faster. I’m currently running 65 mpw and have no clue what mile shape I’m in. My question is am I wasting my time with a goal that only few could reach ? And at what point should I feel confident that I could do it with the enough time and training? I’m 19 btw
