Just when I thought you guys can't come up with something new.... classic.

Still not decided between 3K & 5K.
I'd decide on neither. A 10K would suit you better in the context of a marathon. 3K is simply too short to be indicative of anything for your quest. 5K could be... but I'd still do a 10K if I were in your situation.
Either way, do run a TT.
Meldonium is a banned substance.. Not to mention basically useless. There are legal antihypoxant drugs of the same class that you are better off to use.
I would advise you to stop using meldonium. Is the game worth the candle?
With your mindset you will soon find your way to using EPO, as it is easy to find in your part of the world.
I think it would be best if JS fires you.

Interesting.... how trolls activated... ? before everybody said to change coach, what has happened, don't you like DOPECAN name?
Its a matter of integrity. By using a banned substance its "gone with the wind"
How using or not using a drug that does not increase performance and has no significant health risks and only ended on the totally arbitrary WADA list for political reasons (since it was a staple in Eastern Europe and practically unused elsewhere) is a matter of integrity? With that logic you will accept food as a prohibited substance (or method?) pretty soon (has significant proven performance benefits and also health risks!)

Troll. The logic is that International athletic competitions and other events around the world have adopted the WADA list. You are the one arbitrarily making things up your own standards.
Many PEDs, EPO included have self interested studies that say 'they dont work'. I say; there is normally a simple test - what is it designed to do as a medicine? Meldonium is designed to increase oxygen flow around the body: Its a PED, QED.
Canefis, you have now, by definition, taken your obsession to an unhealthy level. You are taking internationally banned substances to enhance athletic performance. STOP.
Think about yourself. think about your health and your mentality. Your goals and ambitions.

I am not trolling. I am arguing that:
1. integrity argument is invalid, as Canefis is not a pro, does not compete etc
2. this substance on the WADA list is stupid, the fact that athletic federations have to follow WADA rules however stupid they might be does not make it less so
3. common sense should prevail, if people drink more coffee in the offseason than it is allowed by WADA rules, it should not make them a doping user in any sane man's eyes nor should their integrity be questioned. yes, rules are rules, in that we agree, but here on this board we can use our brains and common sense as opposed to cry "doper!" at any mention of a banned substance
As for what meldonium was designed for, educate yourself. It was created as a cardioprotector and was widely used in sports medicine as such. You know, making sure athelete's hearts are healthy under extreme loads and to prevent cardiac ischemia. It does not improve your results, unless you're ischemic or alcoholic or have brain damage, then it helps.
Looks like Slava ran another 20x400 on Strava. Avg. pace was listed as 72.6 but not sure where that came from as I have the avg at around 75. Either way... seems like a solid, consistent workout.
Slava, if you are out there one question about HR. It looks like your Avg HR goes up during the recovery period on almost every rep. I have never experienced this. Seems like odd physiological behavior (or maybe a faulty heart rate monitor). Any ideas?
ok, on lengthier explanation, I'll accept you aren't trolling and row back a little bit.
There is a grey area in some aspects of sport. If, like me, you are a totally competitive middle aged hobby jogger who happens to be registered as an athlete with the national athletics body due to club membership, and your doctor / physio prescribes you drugs which might be PEDs to help minor ailments or stiffness; then maybe ok - but what if you do it deliberately?
So, i dont do PEDS, but my middle aged recovery time after a club workout if excessive - what if i got a doctor to deliberately prescribe me a recovery drug ( i am guessing here, since i dont do it, but i am sure you can - maybe i am wrong) to help?
And then i am more relaxed and better than my running buddies? not right.
BUT
Strava is a serious runner who pays for a professional coach. With his times he will be competitive at some club levels. That is a different level. Furthermore - the reputational damage to a professional coach is completely unnacceptable.
As for melodonium, i admit it is an interesting one, but again, an absolutel ytypical drug that athletes found worked, thought were innocuous and 'drank their fill'. Im looking at you, Sharapova.
As for caffeine - they did want to ban it, but it was clearly ridiculous to do that. And yes, the irony is that many of my arguments above fly out of the window when someone drinks a couple of expressos before a marathon.
Thanks, from your latest reply I can see we actually are agreeing on more than we are disagreeing here. You raise some valid concerns in general, I just don't think we should cry "doper" in this particular case. On the other hand, I don't think Slava really needs meldonium or any other recovery boosters at this stage in his "career".
If they ever ban caffeine I am quitting running.

Yup, average 74.9 according to Strava. Where did the 72.6 come from?
Distance each reps 410m and 2 reps 420m not 400m like before. We have in park columns with lanterns and this time I ran 1 extra column, last time there was a puddle of water...

This time I ran very fast, I felt it. Plus on this distance avg gradient 0.35%. Power is going back to legs... I felt it really like 71-72s like on track in October in Torrent. And, half of reps against wind 20 km/h.
From supplements I left only creatin+L-carnitin+omega3+vitrum+ succinic acid. After 1 week I will remove L-carnitine and creatine, but will add iron chocolates. After 2 weeks I will remove all supplements and continue train naturally like usually (I am vegan).
