These stats are shocking and horrifying. Let's say there is a 50% chance each person is either a democrat or republican - what are the odds getting heads in a coin flip 10 times in a row? The odds are too astonomical for this anomaly to happen randomly.
"To add to that, recent research conducted by National Association of Scholars, found of 8,688 full-time professors with a Ph.D revealed that for every 10 professors who are registered Democrats, there is only one registered Republican professor, ineptitude or attitude?
The political registration of full-time, PhD professors in top-tier liberal arts colleges is overwhelmingly Democratic. In fact, 39% of the colleges sampled had zero Republicans in their faculty. The political registration of the remaining 61% is slightly more than 0% Republican. Thus, 78.2% of the academic departments in the sample have either zero Republicans – or so few as to make no difference. However, the ratio of Democrat to Republicans professors at West Point and Annapolis is even more daunting — at nearly West Point, 13 Democrats to one Republican; at Annapolis, 12.7 Democrats to one Republican.
The rest of the schools, have a even bigger gap between Democrats and Republicans. Nearly 10 of these colleges either have no Republicans in their faculty or a number so small as to be statistically insignificant."
This just shows that better educated people tend to be Democratic.

more smarter? Just joking!
I will throw unpaid internships into the biggest scam category.
A wealthy company gets free labor.
It assures that rich kids can afford to slave for a year without pay while poor kids cannot. This makes rich kids in line for the better jobs due to their experience and connection to the compay. The process keeps the good ole boy network alive.
This isn't demonstrative of imbalance. There isn't automatically a 50:50 breakdown of political allegiance. If you randomly sampled across all people you might find that but people favor certain politics - there are some states that haven't voted blue since the 60s - is that evidence of imbalance? What are the chances Republicans winning Idaho in 16 straight elections?

You aren’t paying for the education, you are paying for the social signaling.
Actually, you're paying for the education. The problem is that most people aren't going to college to get an education. They are going for training, for the degree needed to apply for many jobs, to party, etc.

Most universities cost over $10,000 per year per STUDENT!!! Where has all that money been going????
Use your favorite university. Tuition times number of students.
It goes to insurance companies and lawyers and to pay employees hired to deal with Democrat regulations. The cost of college has sky-rocketed due to liberal policies and loan-guarantees over the last two decades. Most colleges run a very thin red line trying to keep up with the liberal red tape. If politicians were wise they would run on a deregulate academia platform; college tuition would plummet as fast as insurance rates would plummet.

Retired college profs live like KINGS.
That's all going away starting. . . now.
Um...no...not even close. Most are paupers who barely have enough money to retire.

Maybe it's just US. People in many countries get free college, healthcare and their governments dont waste their money on foreign ears.
I hate it when the government wastes money in foreign ears.
