Hey everyone. Freshly cut from my college team, haven't been able to race or workout well in a long time.
As far as symptoms: I get really sore and painful through the lower right back and right glute when I sit for long periods. Driving feels awful. The most pronounced symptom is that I can't lift my leg easily or cycle it through a stride properly. It's like something is giving out when I'm running. No amount of glute bridges or stretching will relieve the symptoms entirely, although strength work around the hip region since has alleviated the edge and prevented pain for the most part. Walking is uncomfortable, but not painful. Have tried resetting hips with the PT, they go right out of whack before the next run. Very tight IT Bands/hamstrings despite obsessive rolling/stretching/strength work around hips and glutes. Laying in bed can be uncomfortable. Also cannot squat properly on right leg. The movement feels weird. Cannot get glute med to activate during exercises like clamshells either.
Hope this seems familiar to someone. Just want to salvage what's left of my college career. Thanks a ton.
