I am about to do a 5k on the track. I ran a 1600m and 3200m time trial in the last two weeks. I rant 4:37 in the 1600m and 9:38 in the 3200m. I am 17 years old. I am wondering what let’s run will predict what my 5k time on the track will be.

You will run 15:48.
No further discussion needed.

I’d say 15:30 at least! The mile to 3200 times show lots of aerobic strength so I’d imagine the pace wouldn’t have to drop a ton to tack that extra mile on.
15:25-15:29

Wow, that 9:38 is way better than a 4:37. Sounds like you are an endurance guy. I predict 15:28.

Yeah I’m more of an endurance guy so I hope 15:28. That would be great.
The tinman chart has me at 15:26. Is that accurate?

Not super but none of those converters really are. I'd say that right in that 15:30-35 range is accurate depending on how mentally tough you can be through 12 laps
Try using words that might appear on the page you’re looking for. For example, "cake recipes" instead of "how to make a cake
On a normal track: 15:30
At Monaco: 15:20
Update? How did it go?
I run this weekend
Update us when you break 15:30
15:40-50
I'd guess a little slower. Personally I could probably run something similar in both those distances, but doubt I could run a sub-15:30. My guess would be more like the 15:40-15:45 range. Anyway, good luck!
If you felt great running 9:38 I think you can run 15:30 plus or minus a few seconds. If you were pretty gassed running 9:38 I think 15:50 would be pretty dang solid.
15:35.6
Im going the other way and saying 15:45ish. I know a lot of people are thinking "oh 9:38 is better than 4:37 so he must be really aerobically strong" but...
1.) a 1600 and 3200 aren't that far apart and use largely the same system, so its not like a 1600 vs. a 10k
2.) Beating your predicted 3200m time by 15+ seconds is less a sign of aerobic strength and more likely a sign of a bad race followed by a good race. It's been a while since we've been able to rac so i'd venture to guess that 4:37 was more of a rust buster than anything else. I've had maybe three seasons where I opened with a mile in 4:30-4:35 and then run the same pace for 3k a few weeks later. No uncommon
So I'm going to predict based on your 3200m and guess 15:43
15:40's would be a great result for you.
You surely have the ability to run under 16.

+1
Yea, most 17 year olds who run 4:37 barely break 10:00 or even run over. I think you can run ~ 15:30 like others have said but it might be worth it to go through 3200 in 10:00ish or so & then wind it down. Sometimes just being off with pacing results in too much of a slowdown. Definitely under 16:00 but I think sub-15:40 would be great but it might not happen if you start off at 15:20 pace.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
