Parker Wolfe runs 14:30 and Sydney Thorvaldson 16:19 at the Heritage Distance Classic today. Both looked great.

Fake course though. It’s the point to point, slightly downhill Liberty Bell course, which some have as slightly short. If runners are being honest with themselves, and some already aren’t, they basically ran the equivalent of what they would on a flat, normal course at sea level. Still great times even so, especially Thorvaldson’s....
How about that freshman girl from Air Academy?
How did Spicoli do?
Liberty Bell isn’t short nor a downhill course. I’ve run and ridden it as a lead bike Hundreds of times and it definitely not a cupcake course.
Drops 100 feet and is 3.05.

No. Not that much.
This course has been measured and re measured a million times and discussed here, ad nauseum
Liberty Bell drops 40 feet, not 100.
It has 85 feet if climbing too, but a net drop of 40 total
And it measures 3.105 miles, just short of 3.1068, which convert to 2.87 meters short of 5k.
Of note, of course, is the 5,400 foot elevation
For reference on Wolfe's performance, Cole Sprout obliterated the old record last year posting a 14:38.
Parker Wolfe just took another 8 seconds off of Sprouts old new record.
.... Also of note:
Parker Wolfe suffered through Covid19 back in July.
Sounds like he suffered it good and proper but still came out fine and stronger.

Bad. Mr. Hand took his pizza and then he divorced Madonna.
Graham Tuohy-Gaydos (17) ran 14:48 at a road (bike path) race in Denver this weekend, along with some pros and college runners. Loop course, legit 5K
Did they wear masks? Did they sign covid waivers?

Yes, they wore masks, on busses, with team & coaches, all the time including the start, then they removed once they started.
Yes, they signed Covid waivers.
No they didn't cry or feel emasculated or whine like some of their parents.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?

Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
