I've lost all interest. Didn't know the NFL started yesterday, didn't care. Maybe their new progressive target audience will fill the seats. BTW, did the team located in Washington, DC come up with a new name yet?

There is not 1 person on that field in uniform less privileged than the rest of you all combined.
Do you apply that standard to Don Jr, Ivanka & Jared when they pontificate?
No of course you don’t, you love their fake yankee rhetoric.

I have listened to the video several times and it sounds like some boos, but I also notice the noise takes a few seconds in.
Alas, even if there were boos, it was not all. Also, just as the players are free to express themselves so are fans. I would not have boo'ed, but I get that others have the right to express themselves in a non-violent or disruptive manner.
All of that is true, but it completely dismantled the argument that it was ever about disrespecting the military. It was white people getting upset because some black people spoke up and hurt their feelings.

I live in Kansas City and multiple people I know that were at the game said there were no boos. What the crowd did do was yell "chiefs" in a really low tone that is common at the stadium. Did anyone ask the people that were there or did reporters see this on tv, made the assumption, and now everyone is just reposting the headline?
+1
I have sports talk on in the background right now. A player who was at the game said he didn't hear any booing.

What does this even mean?
I will try without a dissertation.
There is a current GOP that is terrible for the average citizen. They have used hate & divide to convince a segment of the population that they are not getting ahead due to immigrants and anyone who does not look exactly like them. That population segment is lapping it up.
A man took a knee during the anthem a few years ago to bring police brutality and people of color being treated much different to the conversation. Words were falling on deaf ears. The president turned it into disrespecting troops to push the divide that anyone of color is a troublemaker, anti-american, and stealing your piece of the pie.
Those things are all distractions while they give massive tax cuts to the richest causing an unfathomable deficit even by politics as usual standards, taking steps to eliminate health care to large sections of the population, and decrease/end social security for many.
People who are upset that someone had the nerve to join arms in unity before a football game are included in those who are so easily distracted. They see themselves as victims who could be a wild success in life without those pesky people asking to be treated as equals.
There is a reason life-long democrat Trump ran as a republican and it might be his quote paraphrased, "if I ever run for office it will be as a republican. They are so stupid and easy to manipulate it is almost too easy."
I am not a big fan overall of either party but can see the elephant in the room.

Again. It was a moment of silence. People were making loud noises during the moment of silence.
Sure, they can make loud noises during a moment of silence as a right to express themselves.
Is that their equivalent to kneeling during the anthem?
People kneeled during the anthem to say America isn't living up to it's standard that all men are created equal.
And the noise during “a moment of silence dedicated to the ongoing fight for equality in our country” was for ....?
Were they protesting equality or just being rude?
Here is the scene: we have two of the highest paid QBs in the NFL [$500 million man Patrick Mahomes (who grew up in privilege) and 4 year / $160 million dollar man Deshaun Watson] and the rest of the millionaires on the field reminding us how racist the system is. Meanwhile, the game is hosted at a stadium for a team that has experienced three murder suicides (Jovan Belcher in 2012, former player Jim Tyrer in 1980 and a staff member in 2012) and has had 34 players arrested since 2000 (the Houston Texans are fairly lame by comparison with only 16 arrests). Since 2000, there have been arrests of 970 active NFL players, 21 of whom resisted arrest, 80 of whom faced gun or weapons charges, 118 domestic violence charges, 100 assaults, 4 murders or attempted murders, 4 manslaughters, 255 DUIs, 7 sexual assaults, 1 rape and 1 bomb threat.
The Chiefs have seven players on their roster with arrests since becoming adults (one of whom is a wife and child beater that they just gave a $58 million contract extension to). They have another player suspended for violating the NFL substance abuse policy and their newest star running back was involved in what was deemed a justifiable murder while trying to sell some electronics in a sketchy neighborhood (this individual received preferential treatment by police because he was a football player on the LSU team and the cops in Baton Rouge likely wanted him to play). They never said if the electronics were stolen or if the gun was registered:

When over 10% of your roster has an arrest record, you deserve to be booed, because you are part of the problem, not the solution.
When this many police are corrupt they deserve to be questioned and charged.

Heck, the current administration has over 200 indictments for criminal activity and don't research the history of current and past house & senate members if you don't have a lot of time. There are too many to count. But we should listen to their rhetoric concerning football, the anthem, and a moment of unity?

That’s a solid point.

Correct. The scary thing is that for every video of an abusive cop that emerges, think how many other abuses of power go unnoticed every day.

Such BS, as just about every poll. They always says, "X percentage of Y group supports....." Thats NEVER true. The more accurate statement should be, "X percentage of those who RESPONDED supports..."

Super contribution bro ?
Oh get a life. It sounds as quiet as any other stadium moment of silence, or did someone fact check this with a decibel meter?

Yes, about time. These people have no clue. BLM, the biggest nonsense B.S. deal in my lifetime. Well, other than Iraqi “weapons of mass destruction.”

A football game.
