Crouser is in the groove now. 22.08m throw followed by a 22.31.
Femke Bol won the 300m hurdles. I want to say 38.6. She came from behind with a strong the last 100.
38.85 for bol
gotcha, my b. Warholm goes now!
False start...
Mechanical failure causes a restart. Warholm ran about 50 meters before stopping.
frustrating, i think he had the WR before that false start bs
I got the feeling he didn't get the strides just right for some hurdles, like the last one
My mistake no 2 all time 38.55.
47.62. He looks perturbed/confused. He had a not-so-good stutter (Kerron Clement-esque) at hurdle 9 that might've cost him a little bit. Might've over-strided a bit early in the race to my eyes.

I don't. Running 50m doesn't take a full second out of you.
No he didn't.
50 meters doesn't cost you half a second.
He overstrided and then stuttered while anticipating and going into the 9th hurdle. That's what cost him
That false start may have messed up warholm's chances.
I say not cost him physically (i know the energy system in the first few seconds is easily replenished)
I think rather it perhaps shook him out of the concentration necessary, and the stutter at the 9th maybe showed that

Probably didn't help. He ran a sloppy race for him, though. Might not have been his day.
22.43m for Crouser in R4.
Yeah it doesn't take half a second out of you physically, but it can disturb your concentration.

Yeah it may just be an off day too.
Cisse of the Ivory Coast cruises to the win in the 150m in 15.15 out of Lane 2. This might also indicate it's a slower day for sprints, not that the field was particularly good. Guliyev's form continues to be mediocre this year. You'd think he'd struggle to make a 200m final at this point unless it's just a down year for him.
