THIS is the crux of the thread. David was angling here all along. Now we are in familiar territory. Don't feed this troll.

Constantly.

Well, he used to be on reddit posting the same junk over and over again.
It's only the last 4-5 months he came over here after every running subreddit essentially told him to screw off and banned him.

If trolling, imagine constantly being referred to as a moron would not be worth posting. If not trolling, imagine constantly being referred to as a moron would not be worth posting. I guess my point is constantly being referred to as a moron would not be worth posting. If anyone has any questions let me know. Hopefully my point is clear that constantly being referred to as a moron would not be worth posting.
I lump him in with matt london. Been doing the same stuff on various boards for years and getting banned (matt has a long history on bodybuilding forums). When that happens, they take their act on the road to whatever forum has crappy enough rules/moderation to allow them to flourish. LRC is like the great salt lake, taking sad lonely people from better-run forums and concentrating them in one place. There is almost nothing LRC could do to stop matt or david from posting, even though they are in need of help.
Bottom line: some people are so lonely that they get their kicks on forums where they receive abuse. Greg, LRP, matt, david. I don't think any of these is really an act, when I'm honest. Which makes me legitimately sad. Not a troll post this time.

I just don't know what a good shoe is supposed to feel like.
You shouldn’t be able to “feel” a good shoe. If they don’t hurt to wear or after using them for a while they are good shoes. If something develops then go to store with said shoe and let them help solve it. It may take a few pairs of shoes to dial in, but you have to start somewhere. You might lose weight and run faster and your needs change. There is no perfect shoe. If you have problems with every shoe you try, find a new sport, it just wasn’t meant to be.
If you seriously injure something during training then they’re bad shoes. If you stay healthy then they’re good shoes. Simple 2 prong test, works for me every time.

It’s a good shoe, and you needed new shoes anyway. Nobody on this board can tell you if it’s a good shoe for you though. Did you try running on a treadmill in them at the store?
I couldn't tell how good it feels like. All shoes feel the same to me.
If all shoes feel the same, then it really doesn't matter what shoe you run in.

Then what is the point of everyone telling me to buy new shoes?

WTF?
ASICS Gel Nimbus 22 is my current shoe.
Age 60, last 5K run (2 days ago): 27:44.
Average shoe for an average runner like me.

umm. sarcasm david. I buy at least 4 pairs of shoes per year. Often closer to 6. At roughly ~250 miles per month, I get about two months per pair before I need to switch them. At any given time I have 3 pairs that I rotate through for training, a pair of road racing flats and a pair of cc/track spikes.
One pair of shoes you bought for cross country a year ago and wear every day is not meant to last the rest of your life.

Well, I am not rich. I can't keep buying new shoes ever couple of months.
Sorry if there was confusion, definitely meant for big Dave here and his maddening personality.
