It doesn't matter what their priorities are. If you have a distance coach with a pulse you should be able to have a team that's at least 90 seconds faster on average (both genders).
^^^This. OU has no excuse for this performance today. Horrific, and inexcusable.
Btw, what happened to the OK state's top 2 women's finishers from last year (16th and 18th at NCAAs). Somers was way back - 3 minutes off the pace - in 59th, and no sign of Molly Born. The OSU women would be much more competitive at NCAAs with these two back in form.
