Barega's first km was way too fast yesterday. He did it in 2;29:72 and could not keep it. He has no more pacer very quickly and did km 2 and 3 in 2:35 (7:41 for the 3,000m).
Kiplimo starts the race slower with km in 2;35 and catched Barega in km 4. Last round was still in 57 seconds.
We already knew it but Kiplimo is a huge, huge talent. He has maybe more potential than Cheptegei. It will though to beat Uganda in the next few years on the track.
Just one correction, Barega had Girma as pacemaker up to 3,000 m.
