Now that would be juicy. Unlike Cheptegei, he's getting the weather right. It certainly wouldn't shock me. God, that woudl be great for the sport if he got it.
What would be great for the sport is if they raced each other. Magically, Cheptegei improves by 22 seconds at 5000m. But is he the best 5000m runner in the world? Probably, but he has not shown it irrefutably in a race. In a time trial he has shown that he is the new record holder. But a race would be good for the sport.
