As prescribed by the man himself, I do SAM after every run (I actually shortened it a bit, so it takes even less time). With school started I'm now more pressed for time, and I've been wondering if doing this every day is as beneficial I'm told. I do SAM + 3x10 each leg eccentric heel drops. I timed it once and it took me a total of 17 mins. Am I wasting my time?
If I lifted consistently I probably would cut it out and not ask this question, but I'm kind of spotty with lifting so I keep it in. I don't want to get injured but 1 hr run + warmup + 17 mins to cool down adds up; and when I do shorter runs I feel like it's odd to cool down almost as long as what the duration of my run was.
Note: Not trying to mock JJ, just trying to make the best use of my time.
