I've been running in Pegasus 36s for a bit and my current pair are nearing the end of their life, should I get the Peg 37 or the react miler?

I have been a Peg guy for like 25 years and just got the Infinity React to see how they worked. I like them so far, but not sure I would go with them forever.
I like the Peg but they keep moving back to that fat upper that collects sweat and refuses to dry. I think the 35 did away with it, but it returned with the 36.
I wish the Peg would get the flyweave (is that the name?) upper and be done with it.
On my 2nd pair of 37s right now. My first pair I hit 500 miles on and honestly did not feel that bad for 500 at all. The 37s are pretty heavy so just something to make sure you’re aware of. I use them for easy and long runs but not workouts.
Do you prefer the 36 or the 37? I was a huge fan of the 36 but out sheer stupidity decided to try something new and got the New Balance 1080v10 instead. Haven’t really been happy, so looking go back to the Pegs.
Didn’t have any 36s, but from what I’ve heard you can’t go long with either. If you’re looking for a shoe to use everyday including speed and workouts I’d get 36. If you want something for only easy days I’d get the 37

Sorry meant to say wrong*, not long
Neither shoe is similar to the peg36.
The peg37 is the better and more versatile shoe. I had about 350 miles in a pair of Peg36s, liked them alot, but just retired my first pair of Peg37s at 525 miles... like them so much better.
The React Miler is a good shoe but super heavy and the heel cup is odd, irritated the hell out of my Achilles.
The Infinity React is another valid choice too. Not as fun as the Peg37 and less burly than the Miler. I put about 800 miles in 2 pairs over the winter. Once the Peg37 came out though I've only run in them a handful of times.
Hi,
I agree with the previous post. The Nike Peg 37 is better than the Miler (Heavy, not as responsive). The infinity will fit better with wide foot vs Peg 37 however the Nike Peg 37 I feel is better unless you want more cushioning. The womans version is better than the men's but they only go up to size 12 which is approx 10.5/11 in men's. Its softer more flexible and better at all paces due to softer (15psi vs 20 psi) zoom unit.
Cheers

That's not been my experience, I found the Infinity React tight across the midfoot arch and the toebox was no better than in the Peg 36 or 37. I ended up returning it after ~15 miles as I was rather surprised about the sizing. It's not a shoe you can size up in either due to the crappy lacing system :( If it had another set of holes I'd size up and use a runners knot.
If you can buy from Nike I'd try the Infinity React, the heel works for some and slips/rubs for others.
I agree that the 36s can work for faster sessions.

Peg 37 all day long, for me.
The React Miler is too clunky for me. Should be named the React Hobbyjogger.
Loving my Infinity React Flyknits too...but if I had to keep just one between Peg 37 and the React Flyknits...I'd choose the Peg 37s.
Hi,
My foot swam in my normal size 11 in the Nike Infinity react and heaps of heel slip. Whereas the Nike peg 37 even though narrow fitted much better with my foot. I have just purchased the Reebok Symmetros, so waiting for the delivery of that running shoe. Hope its as good as I have read.
Cheers

When I tried the size up (rental) my foot was sliding up and down the shoe on hills. It's a really bad shoe for sizing up.
Mine were in the newer colours released, so I wonder if Nike made some adjustments to the shoe.
Neither, Nike Revolution 4.
I haven't tried the miler, but I imagine it is similar to the infinity react which is quite a heavy and clunky shoe. However if you are fairly slow (10 minute miles or slower) then it doesn't really matter as you are not moving your feet fast enough to know the difference.
I tried the pegasus 37 using nikes free trial service. Did a 1:35 half in them at 6:55-7:20. The front provides a wide platform so stability is good. The foam is reasonably soft and the grip is good. They also fixed the heel slip. However they are over 10oz in a US10 and they feel on the heavy side. The upper is far too thick and I was not impressed with the finishing of it at all as inside the shoe it just looked like exposed cloth.
All they had to do was keep the pegasus 36 design, fix the heel slip, change the upper to vaporweave and make it 9oz.
Their only other daily trainer which is reasonably ok is the turbo 2.

The women's version of which shoe? I am right in that men's size range and don't have a problem with wearing women's shoes.
Hi,
The woman's Peg 37 I was referring too. Much smoother and easier transitions than the men,s version. I got size 12 in womans which fits my size 10.5/11 size mens foot. Its slightly softer midsole and airzoom unit is less psi (20 vs 15) which means it works for slower paces too. I am around the 74 kg so womans version was fine but i would say if you are on the heavier side the mens might be better. See roadtrailrun review.

Depends what you are using them for?
For long, slow runs, they are good.
For fast stuff, forget it.
The forefoot cushion is very firm. Only starts to bounce at 6:30 pace or higher, but at that pace you feel the weight of the shoe (both are 10oz +).
That is so good to know. I'll keep an eye out for women's models going on sale for black friday. I am about the same weight and shoe size as you. I picked up the Milers yesterday but I'll snag a pair of P37s soon as well.
You people are clueless fanboys. The pegasus sucks ass.
