No, I wasn't "bragging" about my marathon time; I was pointing out that even for an older person, taking more than six hours to cover a marathon is a walking, not running, speed.

Which still isn't bragging, because I've walked the distance under five hours multiple times.

I was just answering the OP's question: No, eight hours-plus doesn't qualify as "running"...but it's still a tremendous accomplishment for a guy that big. Even at my fattest I wasn't much more than half the man's weight; the idea of moving two of my fatbody selves--whether running or walking--for eight hours is daunting. Much respect to him.
