A bit late but, Muir spanked that field.

Obiri was mid pack early and kept dropping back throughout. Lost contact 500m to go or so, just looked burnt by the pace. Wasn’t sure why we were hyping the matchup with Muir; she’s got the credentials, but is clearly a 5000m runner now
Sure, but falling to 4:10 off 4:00-02 pace is pretty weak for someone who ran 14:22 last week.
While Courtney got a PB and Rowbury, Hull, Weightman all solid, I'd have expected one or two of them to get sub 4 in such a paced race. Admittedly all of the last three mentioned ran very well in the Monaco 5000m, so maybe they need a couple 1500m races for the quicker pace.
Warholm given lane 8 in the 400.
I am guessing he struggles to a 46., after that hurdles effort. Hopefully he doesn’t injure himself.
very good points. glad to see some reasonable discussion can be had on this forum.
800m - Reekie maintained position behind the pacer, Rogers made a move by with 300 to go, Reekie fought to keep the inside line. 1:30 flat at 600m, closed to a 1:59.69 for Reekie. Very good stuff.
smart running by reekie
Reekie was probably simply too strong but Rogers should have closed the gap to the pacer at ca. 350m instead of letting Reekie get there. And it was not fast enough in the first lap for the "non-1500m-runners". Reekie almost ran the same pace for the first 800m of the 1k last week, so today she could run the last 200m a bit faster than 400-600m. The speed runners like Rogers usually can't do this, they need a faster first lap.

good run from brazier.
it is unfair to expect always extraordinary performances.
In my impression Brazier currently races for safe wins. The 600m in lanes might have been hard to pace correctly, but also Monaco and today seemed very controlled, no risks, no aggressive first lap. Not sure why, he seems strong enough for a bit or risk/experimentation.
45.05?
Ftw, btw
word on Twitter is that he has a hurt foot.
also, has anyone ever won two races in the same DL???
What happened to 1500?
Warholm 45.05 to win only an hour after his near WR.
I want to see him give the outdoor 400m a serious shot. His PB is 44.87 from 2017, but he's run 45.05 indoors since and now running a 45 flat on tired legs indicates he can go faster than that.
Where's Canova to tell us that he's not as "naturally" talented as Samba and Benjamin....
Wait...what????
45.05 one hour after 46.87 in the 400h ???
What???
Goes in 10 mins
But NBC Sports Gold says coverage is completed.

Just makes me think how efficient he is over hurdles... second nature to him...
400 hurdlers have always impressed me.
Yep, he’s talented alright...talented to the gills!?
yeah, what the hell NBC sports gold. Cut out before the best event?

If he could run mid to high 43 at this point it makes sense he just ran "only" a 45 flat.
