1:50 and change time trial. Not bad!
If this kid realizes he can't be a miler off of 45 miles a week, he might go somewhere. Danny Mackey will be a good guide.
It was part of Julie Culley signing on as Marketing Manager. She wanted him.
Brooks Beasts Instagram says he's only training with the team and documenting it, may get a spot at the end of the year. So he's basically on trial.
My worst nightmare!
What are his accomplishments?

He’s run some good workouts
You really just wanna hate on him...he’s a sub 4 miler a 3:39 1500 guy and a 1:48 800
There are already 3 threads about this signing so looks like a good move by Brooks.

He runs more than 45 miles a week. More likely he just doesn’t upload to strava.
Either way good for him

He was running like 70-80 mpw leading up to xc last summer. Hard to believe he cut down to 50 percent of that now.
There was a whole thread on how after being 70-80 mpw for xc, spencer cut down to 45 for indoor (said this in a video) and "for some reason" wasn't racing well. He seems to be holding a higher mileage now, which is good
didn't know brooks signed scrubs, lol dude barely breaks 150 there's HSers faster than him LOL
At least he gave a shout-out to LRC, so you know he is looking. Anyways good for him if he can make money running. It's about ROI for a brand, he might some gear for whoever sponsors him.
that was a good video to see in my youtube lineup this evening... i appreciated spencer's content and the hard work of him and his fellow runners... he works hard and earned the look from brooks, congrats and keep pushing!

Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Clayton Murphy is giving some great insight into his training.
