Tim Cheruyiot in 1500 as well, Hopefully another sub 3:30
I meant to write Ingebritsen The U instead of the I was a Typo, and I don't know how to change it.
Thoughts from another thread:
Loaded men's 1,500. Hopefully they get the pacing right to the tune of 54-1:50 and we could see something special between Cheruiyot and Jakob. Sein can be the second pacer, but can we get someone to go out less aggressively, please. Also, hope Kejelcha brings his A game unlike last week.
Burgin in the 800! Similar field to last week, though no Hoppel. Hopefully, he's just taking some well-earned rest. I think Kramer will surprise and be close to Brazier along with Arop again.
Women's 1500 looks set for another great field with Muir and Kipyegon. Could Kipyegon go into the 3:55 range? Faster? Also, big SBs/PBs could come for Mageean, Rowbury, and Weightman.
Women's 800, I'd like to see Raevyn Rogers shake off last week's bad 1000. Reekie is the co-favorite for sure, though along with Nakaayi.
And I Meant STOCKHOLM, NOT Stickholm the I instead of the O was ANOTHER Typo,

Maybe you'll get it right the third time.

Unlikely.
I wish there was a way to edit it.

Maybe you check how three of the most talked about athletes are named? Is it really that difficult?
If they test positive then they really will be the Ungebrigtsens.
If enough skinny distance runners show up, then it really will be Stickholm.

Have you ever done a serious, helpful post on this board?
Looking forward to seeing the Ungerbritsens run in Stickholm.
Fascinating development!
The race organizers have reached an agreement with Cheruiyot's manager to set up a handicap in the 1500m, where he will be sent off 2.72 seconds after the field in order to create a more competitive atmosphere!
What is going on with Ajee Wilson?
Is she injured?

Well earned rest? It was 1 race. How long do you think he will need to recover from this?
Lol, I mean...it was a big PB for him. I would agree it would be disappointing if he doesn't race at least 2-3 more times. In his comments to the IAAF reporter, he made it sound like he'll run a race in the USA and thats it. Seems like a waste considering all the travel to even get to Europe, but he did accomplish his big goal of the season I'm sure ~ knock his PB to medal territory.

Warholm in the 400m Hurdles. He ran a 47.10 in Monaco so this is likely a WR attempt for him.
Men's 800m will be interesting solely if Brazier goes for a fast time. If the rabit pulls them through in 50+ then it's going to be a very dull 1:43-1:45 race we pretty much always see on the circuit yawn...
Women's 1500m Kipyegon vs Obiri vs Muir. Based on their Monaco performances all three are in great shape. Hopefully they'll go for a fast time but based on what we saw last week, regardless of the pace this is Kipyegon's race easily.
Men's 1500m Cheruiyot vs Ingebrigtsen rematch. Cheruiyot seems to be incredible form, and with a well paced 1000m I suspect he'll possibly be able to challenge the WR. Albeit it's unlikely.
Jakob basically ran a perfect race in Monaco, I'm not really sure he can improve on it much at the moment.
Also Kejelcha is here, whatever
potato tim looks sure to break his PR if pacing is better and conditions are alright. Jakob ran very even in Monaco, but basically in from the front with no help so he could maybe run faster in stockholm. Filip will also surely go for a fast time as im sure hes upset with not breaking 3:30 in Monaco.
Jakob ran a perfect race but still couldn't match Cheruiyots speed down the stretch despite Cheruiyot running horrible pacing (:52 first lap!).
Two things this tells us:
1. Cheruiyot can break 3:26 with better pacing.
2. As good as he is, Jakob will not beat Cheruiyot in the Mile/1500 as long as Cheruiyot is competing in those races.
I hope you are right about Tim. Would like to see a WR in the 1500m.
