Come on. Its 2020. IVY league bs is exactly that bs. Credibility is questionable at best. The liberal masks are being ripped off. It will hurt some and this is sad, but for the progression of society, it has to happen and is.

Jews are 30% of Yale. Start there. Everything else is just a waste of time. talk about privilege/connections/supremacy. they've been crapping on whites and asians for decades now.
The number of legacy students admitted to Yale is twice the number of affirmative action students. Why isn't the justice department investigating legacy admissions?
Note also that white people benefit from affirmative action.
This is just trump trying to stoke racial resentment because he believes it will help his re-election prospects.
Jews are white. That is a religion, not a race. Nothing wrong with connections.
Legacy donors are paying for the less qualified minority students. Legacy admissions are good. Making decisions based on skin color is bad.

White people have been discriminating against blacks for hundreds of years and now you crybabies want to whine if Blacks get a little preferential treatment. Shut up

What garbage is this about blacks getting preferential treatment?
As I pointed out, the number of legacy admissions at Yale is twice the number of affirmative action admissions. And at Harvard, there are four times of more legacy admissions.
Also white women are the biggest beneficiaries of affirmative action

When you make completely ridiculous statements like this, nobody can take your seriously. As someone who is involved as an alumnus at a top school regarding admissions, I can assure you that no white people ever are getting a boost because they are white. It might be because they are legacy kids but that's not affirmative action and it has nothing to do with their skin.

Yeah, except that's a slight re-branding of the term they were discussing. If that college degree you got washes out, you'll always be able to get a job moving goalposts.

You clearly do not understand what affirmative action is if you think admitting underqualified white due to their ability to play certain sports or have parents who donate money. They have absolutely nothing to do with affirmative action even though you linked to some liberal articles that say otherwise. It probably would help you understand the situation better if you did us all a favor and looked up the definition of affirmative action. I can assure you that no top school is admitting underqualified whites entirely due to the race box they checked but that is precisely what happens with blacks. You clearly are in denial of that fact but the facts are the facts.
No white men are receiving affirmative action over Asians and white women. That is a fact. Yes, underrepresented minorities are too [ to an even bigger degree by some metrics], but absolutely white men are receiving it. White men with lower SAT/ACT scores and lower GPAs are getting in when the equivalent women and Asians are not. It's so the schools maintain gender/racial diversity.

Ohhhh so the white and Asian students will have to settle for Princeton or Dartmouth. The struggle is real for them. Talk about first world problems.
Fortune 500 companies are prioritizing diversity and inclusion, Yale and other prestigious colleges are following suit. This is 2020 ya’ll, not 1990. Get with the times or get left behind.
This was the same argument used against Brown v. Board of Education.
Breaking?
Affirmative Action, a controversial topic in the US for decades, is still federal law. It was weakened by the Bush Jr. administration, and strengthened by the Obama administration.
In 2018, in a similar case accusing Harvard of discrimination, the courts found in favor of affirmative action.
In 2016, in a case decided by the Supreme Court, the court found in favor of affirmative action.
Looks like "white victim" supporters keep wanting more bites at the same apple, particularly encouraged by an administration that does not hide its racism, supported by a Department of Justice who appears to be working for the administration, rather than for the people, and recent appointment of new Supreme Court justices.

Hey, OP, idk what to tell you if you can't grasp the idea behind affirmative action. Maybe white folks, historically, have had access to the best resources available & have reaped the benefits of an economic system that works for them. Maybe they had a leg up when this country was founded & that continued through discrimination practices that are still rooted in society. & maybe, just maybe, an elite college should be able to raise up students they think have potential instead of trust fund kids that can practice for the SAT. I'm sure these wealthy trust fund types that got rejected from Yale are really hurting at Boston College and Georgetown.
