Yeah, it's ridiculous for a country of 5 million to trace and isolate cases so they can avoid an outbreak that could result in thousands of deaths, the swamping of their health system, and a resultant economic crash - like so many other countries (not looking at anybody) that haven't chosen to do that.
Also, the lockdown doesn't involve the whole country but only Auckland and is at level 3, not level 4, and is for 12 days. That's a price they've decided to pay to avoid what the virus could do if it is unchecked. So tell me - how is going for you folks in Texas and Florida?
