The college administrators look to be on the verge of cancelling fall sports. This despite recreational and youth sports returning across the country not to mention pro sports.
College kids are at a low risk for COVID. Many football players have said if they are actually playing football they will take more precautions than if they are just sitting at home bored. I don't see how college sports are much more of a risk than anything else going on. Plus the players would presumably be tested way more so any case of covid will be dealt with whereas 40% of us who have COVID are asymptomatic and don't know it.
Are the college admins panicking or am I missing something here?
