385 lbs bench press equivalent for 2 reps at 6'0 and 210. Personal record.
Previous record was 380 for 2 at 6'0 and 215. So a 5 pound increase and 5 pound bodyweight reduction.
I'm going to attempt the equivalent of a 405 for 1 over the next two weeks to see if I can get that up. My PR at this low of a bodyweight is 400 at 208 lbs bodyweight.
So if I can get the 405 up at 6'0 and around 210 then i'll be approaching the equivalent of a two times bodyweight natural bench press.
The math on this machine works out like this. It's 132.5 on the machine and i'm doing it with 1 arm. The full stack goes to 200. So you take 132.5 and times that by 2 to get 265 and then you add in the 120 to get 385.
This matches up good with what I can do on the smith machine with 1 arm.
I can't bench with my right arm from baseball and tendinitis. It's crippled and doesn't lock out.
I didn't think I would get anymore weight up at around this low of a bodyweight but I guess I squeezed 5lbs more out of it.
Every gym session I do is all out on every rep. Every set on every machine or barbell lift is all out and as much weight as possible. There's no light or medium days with me. Everything is all out all the time. No 50 percent days, no 67 percent days.
