Meb told me he once that his Nikes injured him in 2012-13.
Meh...whatever...overuse injury without taking any sort of extended down time to heal correctly more than likely.
Who? Is he allowed to terminate his sponsorship contract owing to this?
Too much MAF, not enough recovery. These mileage addicts would be better off doing junk mileage on an elliptical or doing some strength training, and not just legs and core.
For a guy that's so enthusiastic about running and running shoes, he sure is ignorant sometimes.
I used to be big fan of Kofuzi's channel, but it's really been starting to go down hill. His shoe beliefs have become more and more out there, and MAF training is boring as sin to watch / hear about.
I cant trust someone who is unable to track his shoes on strava.
I bet he has spreadsheets showing him qualifying for Boston.

How to watch a Kofuzi Youtube Video:
1. Click link.
2. Skip 2-3 minutes of techno music and "cool" GoPro footage.
3. Laugh at his latest run.
4. Watch something else.
Funny because he signed with Skechers in 2011...

He tries to act like he's accepting of advice, but really it seems like he think he knows better than everyone. He used to be cordial to commenters that disagreed with him, but after a while he decided to start responding to advice by being passive aggressive. That's where I checked out in his channel (that and the daily live streams were annoying). Idk if it still seems this way tho, haven't watched most of this year.

Almost seems like as his channel has grown, the quality (in my opinion) has gone down. I liked his old style that was more raw and simple. As he has gotten bigger, it almost seems like he's doing too much, trying too hard. Same for Seth Demoor. A real shame because 10k subs Seth was really great to watch. Now, I barely watch either of them.

If you don’t believe me that’s fine. The dates weren’t important for me to remember, I’m sure they were important to him though.

Could he be David45?

Oh, no way. You clearly need natural talent to operate a weird spinning 3D Go-Pro thing.

Well, he practice a lot in his backyard with running, so maybe he's got the hang of it with operating a Gopro gone crazy on his run's... I mean with 6:51 on the mile you don't need slomo
I’m kinda done watching him. I liked his channel when he would run along the water. Ever since he started focusing on slow training and added the live streams I’ve lost interest. All he does is run then talk about his run. He talks way too much and it’s really boring.
The daily live streams are BS. Channel has gone seriously downhill.
I stopped watching when he decided to boycott Nike.
But honestly certain brands of shoes just don't suit everyone.
I had tons of PF problems in the arch from running with Asics, and I think it was related to the whole plastic cradle in the midfoot (TRUSSIC).
Once I switched to Salomon it was gone. But basically any neutral shoes just work better for me.
Asics themselves are probably ok now since I don't see the trussic system anymore.
But knee pain from certain shoes sounds weird, more likely pronation or hyperextension or overuse. These shoe reviewers also keep swapping shoes, it's no wonder they get injured.
This is Kofuzi in a nutshell for me:
