She's an amazing runner because her form is quite poor and imbalanced. Great result.
A good result 6 months too late,
Sara, not Sarah.
You're welcome, Sara
Great run. I get the PB thing, but claiming it’s now the 6th fastest on the American list is questionable.
Point to point, specific pacers, seems almost a Salazar/Rupp sort of thing.
This is the result of her Miracle on the Treadmill.
or was that Julia webb?

That was Julia. Awesome run for Sara! I love that she keeps pr'ing in her late 30s. It goes against the narrative that 34 is long in the tooth for a distance runner. She'll probably still be a threat to get an Olympic qualifying spot in 2024.
Was she wearing the new Metaracers?
Asics have a thick stack height marathon shoe in the works. She may have been wearing that
Was listening to Hall talking about this run on Mario Fraioli's podcast this morning. Really impressed by the time. She's come a long way since Ryan took over her training.
So did she run it in a carbon-plated shoe? Just wondering since Ryan ranted about how unfair these shoes were last fall.
Solid, solid time. Any info. on the point to point route she took?

"The race, called the Row River Half Marathon and staged by the organizers of the Eugene Marathon"
Kinda seems like a race, since it was a race
Who was she being paced by?

"Hall was paced by Eric Finan of Eugene and Jared Carson of Portland, both of whom were also entered into the Trials."
Said everyone entered had to have a negative covid test.
Would this even count since the shoes are prototypes? Pictures clearly show they are not off the shelf metaracers.
Did her 20 and 16 year old daughters run a 1:20 and a 1:23 respectively in the same race? Impressive results.
