Warholm is considering dropping the Monaco meet

According to the plan, Sunnmøringen will run the first 400 meter hurdles of the year in competition in Monaco on 14 August. On Thursday, however, the principality was given the status of "red land" by the government, and thus Warholm must think again.
- As the situation is now, we need time. We are in an assessment phase and have no more information about the case now, writes Warholm's mother and manager Kristine Haddal in an SMS to NRK.
If Warholm chooses to travel to Monaco, he must expect a ten-day quarantine when returning to Norway. Top sports director Erlend Slokvik of the Norwegian Athletics Association says that he does not want to ban Norwegian athletes from participating in the competition.

The runner brothers Henrik, Filip and Jakob Ingebrigtsen have also not decided whether they will go to Monaco.
