This is the same situation as a Clev Browns head coach . The best players at the end of the year tell the owner to get a new guy . Coach fired.

Oh damn, they are going to just "make carbon shoes"! Nike spent 5 years developing /perfecting the vaporflys (and locking down the IP) then a 3 tier marketing company that also sells shoes is going to "tech bro/bro science" their way to this, by way of a video call. It just seems so 1/2 baked .
Please go see their "race shoe" section.
It is a lot easier to copy existing designs than innovate. Just buy some nikes, dye them different colors and replace the emblem......
Shoes have always had elements of bro science (remember the air pockets, gel pads, hydroflow and the rest of 80s/90s innovations). Figuring out where that ends and actual improvement is pretty hard. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that a bunch of these 3rd rate carbon shoes actually slow you down.
You could run faster in $80 Nike streaks than the new saucony and adidas.
That training group started with 2 guys that have made international 5k finals in Knight and Kemoy Campbell. There are worse ways to start a group credential wise.

I would say the Brooks Beasts are good company to be in. Outside of Bowerman and the former NOP what other clubs have had that level of success?
Hansons, OTC Elite. What have Beasts done internationally that TME hasn't?
As for putting foreigners on their countries' teams for Tokyo or Eugene being "a win": THAT'S EXACTLY TME'S LEVEL, THAT'S WHAT THEY'VE DONE ALREADY AND THE FROMER BROOKS GUY IS PUBLICLY PISSING ON THAT.

Another tedious, mushmouth suck-up who knows nothing we didn't already know. Thanks, YouTube.
Hey LRC brojos/Gault:
Do ya'll read back through your "articles" & look to see if you're missing anything or not covering men/women in the same way?
There really isn't a huge difference between the men's/women's roster if you think about how competitive each side will be on the world scale. You talked about Monson as a bit of an afterthought. A healthy O'Connor is a threat to make a US team. &, is LRC not supposed to be the place for amateur athletes, dreams coming true, and all that? You should have come across a bit more excited that some D2 runners are getting a chance, and a good one at that, to have sponsor money & a notable coach.
I feel like the "article" was just really dismissive of the women's side & it didn't need to be. You could celebrate women a little bit more in more ways than one on this website. This feels like a missed opportunity & you couldn't even see some of the signings through the same lens that you push for runners trying to live out their dreams.

2) I thought it was interesting how Wetmore and Coloardo coaches wanted him to vet the company he was signing with. I wonder if they did that because of Adam Goucher. That anecdote certainly made me thinkg of Goucher. Anyone remember when Goucher came out of college and signed with Fila? You want to sign with someone that knows what they are doing and is committed for the long haul.
Well Rojo,
I think we have our answer.
Klecker is an Olympian
Hoare is an Olympian (soon)
Falland Monson are in both looking like maybe they could be too.
Steve Dekoker has proven that he knows what he’s doing and Brooks messed up letting him get away. Steve should of canned Danny Mackey and replaced him with Ritz if he knew Ritz was going to be this good.
