Just started adding some light running to my rehabilitation for multiple torn hamstring tendons that occurred in Oct '19. Opted out of surgery. Most of the workouts consist of race walking form (not pace) and easy fartlek on a nice soft level trail for a maximum distance of 4 miles. Am running in the heat of the day (85 deg,F) which facilitates more flexibility in my muscles. It feels so good just to be moving again. Hope in the back of my mind that I can return to 20 minutes for 5k in about 6 months. Will be 69 then. Rarely see another person on the trail so Covid is n/a.
