A little early?
Australian borders are completely closed to foreigners and Australian citizens have to enter a 2 week quarantine if returning from overseas. Australia is more or less trying to eradicate corona (despite what the government says, this definitely appears to be their aim).
I can't see Australia being open to foreigners before there's a vaccine
Every country in the world will be back to normal in regard to borders before them (apart from maybe NZ)
They've been super strict with COVID, this isn't too surprising, but I agree it's a bit premature. If the Olympics go off as scheduled (late July) and this gets pushed too close, the field quality might be weak.
