Hopefully not, but have any current fit athletes died of covid? Professionals? Olympians? Marathoners? Endurance athletes?

How about any that have gotten as sick as one would with say the flu?
She was a well known person in Boston. No public information about an underlying medical condition.

I am from Boston and never heard of her.
Let's call her semi famous.
I tried to find out if she was healthy or had other issues before the virus. Could not find a thing one way or the other.
Last week the guy in Florida killed in the motorcycle accident that was listed as a Covid death, he looked pretty young and healthy. So I’ll nominate him.
And here are a few people who survived but had a lengthy illness and were near death:

He was no athlete, but was healthy, went to the gym and ran. He got pneumonia and spent a couple days in the hospital on oxygen. It is about 6 weeks after he was released and he still has trouble breathing. Doctors have no idea whether he will be permanently impaired. It is still very new.
Nick Cordero. He was in his early 40s. Broadway actor. Not overweight at all.
He had a major underlying condition that would have killed him before reaching old age.

If you watched Boston tv, you would have seen her. She was on numerous commercials for the Red Cross.
Eduardo Rodriguez is in his 20s and the top starting pitcher for the Red Sox. He tested positive and has now developed a heart condition.
Can't say this without sounding like a horrible person, but I feel like it's epidemiologically relevant: the 21yo college baseball player does not appear to have been a healthy weight. At all.
This guy seemed a lot healthier than most people his age.
... also, Ironman dude did finish the 2017 Wisconsin IM, but it took him nearly 17 hours. He "ran" the marathon in 6:34.
For the record, I believe that this virus is very real, that its health threats are very real, and that more people should be more careful than they currently are. But before we all draw conclusions about the "healthiest person" you know who's had issues... not sure how healthy a 6:34 marathon at the end of an IM really is.

Read the question!!!!
Covid, not pneumonia
Die, not sick
Amazing the inability of some of you to comprehend basic English.
I read the Washington Post daily. It's only the young, fit and healthy who are dying from this disease. If you're fat, old or have a pre-existing condition, you will be fine.
A coach and athlete in his mid-40s. No underlying medical problems. Took him weeks to die.
He was my former coworker. A good guy. A loss to the world.
Betting he did not weigh 145.
Ophthalmologist Li Wenliang looked pretty young and healthy.

He was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. It's just the flu bro.

??? Please try to start making sense with your posts. Poor Nick might have lived into his late 50s or early 60s. It is up to you to prove he would have die anyway in the next few months, because why die today if the grim reaper is not scheduled to take you away for until next year, or a decade or more from now?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
