Do you know anything about Lehigh? I've emailed the coach a couple of times and he hasn't gotten back to me. The team is far from elite, and I'm surprised my times wouldn't warrant a response at the very least.

How fast?
If a coach doesn't reply, then judge them by their actions. Maybe you found the reason their team isn't elite.
I have experience with Lehigh. The coach is optimistic on their recruiting and will likely ignore you until the shortlist is exhausted. If you will patient they will come back but not with likely with $$$ if you're not on the short list. Great school. Id keep it on the list.
Sub 9:30 for the 3200 junior year indoor. Top 15 in a somewhat strong state for cross country. Obviously not incredible but my 3k would be like their 5th/6th best for returners.
Times like that going into a senior year should be fast enough to at least get the coach to respond back, especially with how poor Lehigh has been in the past few years. But yeah, Lehigh is always optimistic that they can get some of the top runners in each state because they had a few state champs on the team these past few years. These guys didn't develop or do that well in college though so the team's competitiveness in the league has dropped significantly. Also they think their academics can pull in some kids who look at Ivy league schools but those kids 95% of the time choose Ivy, especially cause Lehigh has been dropping off academically. If you do get a recruiting visit, be sure to ask the head Track and Field coach which athletes he thinks are hot. There was a whole thread about that last summer and he's still coaching
Lovely
Daughter is also a rising junior. Low 17- 5k , low 11- 2 mi . Also, she's a total nerd. No problem going to a rigorous school. 1350 on the SAT in 6 th grade. Will graduate high school with an AA in math. (Long story. )Any insight would be helpful. Anybody know what the deal is with official visits and covid?
U Penn
Stanford
NAU
MIT
UW
Vanderbilt
Strange to have NAU on the list. Are you prepared to pay $75k per year at some of those schools?
She would go to NAU for running. Not so much academics. 75k! Whoa.
Official visits generally happen Senior year. If you daughter is a rising junior she doesn’t have to worry about COVID interfering with them right now.
UPenn-no scholarships
Standford-shes too slow
NAU-too slow, average school
MIT- D3 outlier on your list
UW-???
Vanderbilt- Great choice, okay team but never going to NCAA again, Toxic coach
Good luck
low 17 5k but low 11 3200, that doesn't sync up
That is why coaches pay little attention to XC times.
UPenn-$75k but big discounts if poor
Standford-shes too slow
NAU-too slow, average school
MIT- D3 outlier on your list - $75k but big discounts if poor.
UW-too slow
Vanderbilt- Underfunded. $75k but big discounts if poor.
Can get fairly large academic scholarships at UT based on test scores.
