Considering starting to wear a mask while running since COVID is increasing where I live. Anyone have any recommendations based on their experience? Or any you had bad experiences with that you wouldn't recommend?

I like this one:
I wear a buff. It's obviously not as effective as an N95, but it's better than nothing and really isn't a big deal to wear.
Easy enough to pull it up and down if you go that route, I pretty much never pull it down (unless it's too soaked to breath through).

None. It’s stupid to run outside with a mask on.
I would never wear a mask and run.
I've been wearing my neck gaiters for masks... and even as thin as those are, they are still annoying.
During the winter is one thing... but on a 90F summer day -- no way.
But I also live out in the woods... and the only thing I need to deal with is bears, coyotes, and the occasional loose Pittbull...

Thanks for the unsolicited thoughts on if masks are necessary while running!
For those that have been wearing a mask while running, would be interested in any thoughts on this.
I like these 2 . both are light.

No.
Have fun blowing out a lung running with a mask plastered to your face. Can you say “spontaneous pneumothorax”?

This.
I don't think so because you should wear mask to keep safe during this time. It is necessary. I see many webs for masks such as https://couponforless.com/store/belkin.com while they focus on phone accessories.
another buff user here.
they're simple, comfy, less constricting than a mask and will still have a use post pandemic.
i've seen a bunch of riders and runners wearing them.
I got a few of this one and don’t have any complaints.

HI Quentin
I find NAROO masks very breathable and of good quality. Manufacturer claims that it protects from small particles and droplets. They are also washable, that I like a lot, else I feel sorry for using new mask every day.

Uniqlo makes some double layer cloth masks that rock for just about anything, even running. These will be your best bet.
While the risk is minimal outside, some places do still require them when outside. The country I live in currently has a mask mandate in place. So even if one "thinks they are stupid", some places require them and a Buff or Elon'esque bandana won't cut it (you will be fined immediately).
The cheap Uniqlo three pack of masks is a godsend.
