Pretty impressive for a guy his size and who's not focused on running. Similar to Nick Bare, but I think a little more heavy, and also I think he's less focused on running than Nick Bare is.

Wow, that's a lot of weight to haul around for 4 hard laps. Well done.
Thanks for checking in, Adam!
I would like to know what his 10-yard dash is, though. That’s the true mark of a guy that size, at least according to another poster on this board.
His best accomplishment was marrying that cute wife of his.
Solid effort. Was that 1600 or mile? Either way, great effort.
Very impressive, but I have old teammates in that range that could probably run those types of times.
That guy gets a lot of respect in my book. I wonder if he is a really talented runner and never saw it through? Did he say how old he is?
The talented runner was his pacer. I didn't watch the entire video. Did they mention her name?
Finally we get one of these cross fitters to run a mile on a track instead of using a GPS watch.
Good for him. He's fast.

I have an old teammate that now lives in the mountains (utah? CO?) that is probably 200-205, in his 40’s, and could probably do 4 or 5 of those. Total freak of nature.
This other guy Fergus Crawley also did it, and proceeded to run 26.2 mi to top it off!
64s split at 409m, wtf

Evolution in action. These muscle head 'hybrid athlete' YouTube vloggers are getting bigger and faster. Another 10 or 20 years and some 250 lb ripped dude will be vlogging his attempt on El G's WR.
I believe he has the same coach as the legendary Alex Viada.

This guy's a brute too. But he definitely needs to fire his "pacer." He's a better runner than Adam...but squat wasn't quite as nice.

Haha this would be fun to watch..
But I doubt it's humanly possible, even with next level dope.
IMO, someone who is 200+pounds with a lot of muscles who would be focused on running for years and very talented would find a limit around 4:10-4:15 mile. Maybe sub 4:00-4:05 min with next level doping.
But I doubt someone who is 200+pounds bodybuilder type will be able to go much under 4:00min.
Note : This is different than someone who is 200+ pound because he's like 6ft3 and isn't skinny type. Here we're talking about the "bodybuilder type"/ american footballer physique type.
Yeah that pacing is a death march, lol. NOT optimal.
Trackbot! Optimize 1mi 64 75 80 78
Ah, seems TrackBot is defunct. But plugged those splits (last lap adjusted) into
http://timescalculator.appspot.com/optimizer
and it spit out 4:45 for the 1600m.
So, about 4:48 for the mile with optimal pacing?
Who cares? He runs slower than JV high school boys and he lifts less than any decent high school football player. He probably can't throw a baseball or shoot a basketball to save his life.
If you decide to train for 2 things (running and lifting) you can get mediocre at both of them. Congrats dude at being mediocre at 2 things and good at absolutely nothing.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
