if it is where I think it is you cannot just show up. to view the meet you need to be on a guest list in a effort to comply with local virus restrictions but the other meets have been live streamed

45# bar plus 2x10# plates = 65 pounds?
There was also a small plate on each side. Most likely 5 pounders. So probably 75 lbs?
Livestream will be here

just after 7:30pm Monday Jul 27th.
NJ/NY TC/NE Distance/Saucony in elite men's 800m and Purrier/NB Distance/Central Park TC in women's 800m.
Meet is guest list entry only and strict regulations.
More info (heatsheets/performance list) to be posted at
Hmmm . . . some NY teams competing . . .
Might we have a Mary Cain sighting?
Cain is with Tracksmith now!
And alas, no Cain. Can confirm that one.
Purrier, MacLean, Detra, Farber, Gregorek, Alexander, Napolitano, Ellison, Randon and more.
Heat sheets out tomorrow morning.
Wonderful, any other super-secret track meet in the middle of nowhere. I question if they are doing it right.
1. Open-air venue
2. Full sun light (UV rays) (assuming it's during the day)
3. This is a track meet not a NFL/MLB game where you'd get a packed house (where transmission would be more likely)
4. Particularly if it is not in a central-city location (Boston, New York, Philadelphia), it's not like you'd get people (and tangential fans) that just happen to be in the area stopping by and thus increase the concentration of people
5. It's a weekday - most people are working anyway
6. Track athletes/runners tend to skew generally younger and certainly more healthy (this isn't the population you need to be concerned about)
I'm starting to wonder if the super-secret track meet location is actually about the Wuhan virus or if it is about exclusivity.
*another super-secret
Just ran 2:00.7. At Hall High School in CT
Here are the results for the women's 800 (click to second photo):
PR for Purrier by almost 2 secs, also PR for MacLean.
Just considering the amount of power she generates when she run it's clear that she can easily lift 2 or 3 times that for reps.

Is there a video of this race available online somewhere? Thanks.

We were not discussing what she is able to lift. We were discussing what she was actually lifting in the video.

We can now be certain that Elle doesn't train in racing briefs.
Damn. I know 2:00 lines up with her 1500, but that is impressive for a 1500/5000 runner.

She is right on Shelby's heels in progression. She is probably in 1:58/3:57/14:30 shape right now.
Her 800 ranks US #2.
On the men's side, Colby Alexander won in 1:47.50..
Colby Alexander. 1:47.50
Sam Ellison. 1:47.68
Rob Napolitano. 1:47.79
Johnny Gregorek. 1:47.96
Jeremy Hernandez. 1:48.55
Darius Kipyego. 1:48.82
James Randon. 1:51.49

Honestly thought she'd marry a more athletic looking guy. He looks like a doughboy lol.
Congratulations are in order: wrote:

Koko looks extremely malnourished. She looks terrible.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
