Fisher ran 3400m in 8:48. He looked smooth like it was not an all out effort. Curious what he could run in a more evenly paced 5000m. 13:00 to 13:05 possibly

Men: 32, 62.4, 62.5, 61.9, 62.5, 62.4, 61.1, 61.4, 61.9, 61.3, 60.3, 59.4, 57.4
Looks like Fishers pacing brought them down into the 61 second range before he jumped off at 3400 m or so. That little detail, track fans, may have made the flow of the race set up perfectly for the big guns to roll with the feel and give it their all the last 1600 m.
Expect big things from young Mr. Fisher in the coming years.
What's amazing is in the women's race her last 800m is faster than a lot of D1 college athletes run in the open 800m event.
Of course the same could be said for the men's race. The last 1600m was sub 4:00 and probably sub 4 for 1609.34

Uplifting.
Incredible young people doing this for themselves and the enjoyment of others.
Sharing in the joy of others success. We can all learn from this.
