Injury ? No.
If doing the same run leads to injury the problem is not repetition of the same run but either too much intensity and/or too much lengh or shoes or running on hard surface all the time.
Boredom? yes
It is always good to vary the place where you run, the lengh and the pace so that you don't get tired of doing the same thing all the time.
But it is also good to have some routine so you have to find a balance.
no I dont think it would lead to injury
This is what I want to be trying to do.
Monday: Recovery day. OFF or 4-5 Miles
Tuesday: Workout #1. Total Distance of 6-8 Miles
Wednesday: easy Day/Medium Long run. 8-10 Miles
Thursday: Easy day: 6-8 miles Easy
Friday: Workout #2. 6-8 Miles
Saturday: 6-8 Easy
Sunday: Long of 12-14
Often I may have a lot of days I am running in the same relative distance range. I go longer once a week and shorter another day but most days are around 1 hour of running, maybe a little less when I do 6, and a little more when I am doing 9-10 but really they usually all end up being in the 55-65 minute range . following this gives me 44 at lowest though if I am taking the monday off I am usualyl not going to be hitting low numbers on every other day and at the high I would be looking at 61
Why you gotta rip off my handle though?
