Assuming 12 to 16 reps slightly faster than mile pace.
Also, standing or walking/jogging rest?

When I do a workout like that I do 100 or 200 jog recovery
Rest doesn't have to be exact but you should feel smooth every single rep. 70-90 seconds walking/trotting around or a 200 slow jog should suffice. This workout serves to improve running economy and shouldn't be that hard.
How fit are you? Jogging rest is technically better but if you need to stand or walk to recover and keep up the pace do that.

Coming from marathon, trying for a sub5 mile. Never trained for speed though, so decently fit but probably lacking VO2Max at the moment.
Aiming at those 200m in about 34 or 35s.
