Looking for any guidance on this one...
I have been out of running for a little over 5 weeks now with tendinosis and a partial tear of a tendon in my foot. It has been healing nicely. A little over a week ago I decided to "test" it with some light jogging. It held up fine, but I had to cut it wayyy short due to incredible groin pain. The pain is in my lower abdomen and inner thighs on both sides. I had minor pain there for months, but nothing this intense. I literally can't run if I tried.
I had a MRI on my left hip that showed free fluid in my pelvis. I had a CT scan as well that came back clean, but it was without contrast.
The MRI recommended I get a CT scan with contrast. My orthopedist doesn't think this is an orthopedic injury (he ordered the MRI) and my urologist thinks it is an orthopedic injury (he ordered the CT to rule out stones). I just want to know what is causing me so much pain! I have been going to physical therapy, but no relief from the pain.
Has anyone been through something like this? Any idea what could cause free fluid in the pelvis in men?
