Freshman year I ran ~30mpw. Sophomore year, for cross country I ran ~40-mpw, ran 17.2x of that. Now that I am gonna be a junior and have two years left to prove myself, I have to start putting some work in if I want to get a chance at running at a good college. I am building up to 6.5 hours a week 50-55mpwfor junior XC and hope to run 16:00-30s this season.
I respond well to mileage and am better at longer stuff. I am not that injury-prone and have plenty of dirt roads, grass and hills to get nice and strong. I wanna build up some real big mileage (big for me at least).
