I've been having difficulty increasing my mileage without injury. Most specifically left leg IT band crap and piriformis pain. I've been working on strengthening these areas, foam rolling, etc. But I now have access to an AlterG 3 times a week and want to know how to integrate it into my training.
I've got a PT (PT assistant) that is overseeing the whole deal but she is not a runner. I was wondering if anyone had insight in how to use this device to (1) increase mileage and (2) increase strength both without injury.
I'd be interested in hearing how much unweighting you did (% of body weight) and if how you integrated it into a training regime.
