I alrey did an extensive base phase this year, mainly due to the current pandemic and I'm currently In the third week of the second phase of Daniels 5-10k program so I if keep following the 24 week plan I'll peak by the end of September-early and mid October, but now I need to be in peak fitness by november-start of December.
So how do I proceed now, should I add some weeks (need to extend my leave by about 6-8 weeks) to the second and maybe third phase, as I remember reading he doesn't recommend to extend the fourth phase in order not to overtrain and bornout or should I restar his 24 week training programs again? (Despite the fact that I'm thinking that doing base phase again wouldn't be much beneficial)
